During this 1.5 hr presentation, we examine the marvelous musical wisdom of three ancient cultures: Greece, India, China, and the concept of the musical physician. Such cultures understood the importance of harmonizing their societies music with cosmic realms.

Please join me for "Musical Physicians & The Music of Ancient Cultures," the second in a series of nine exciting lectures on the science of music therapy and sound healing: this presentation serves as a conceptual framework for the entire Musical Medicine Series (planned for 2009 & 2010). During our extended musical journey, we will uncover some intriguing information relating music, mind and matter.

Amazingly, the principles underlying sound/musical healing appear to be mirrored in the physical fabric of the universe at many levels. These musical-universal correspondences capture a wide range of phenomena including: planetary sound vibrations, sacred geometry, harmonics, animal sounds, holography, and musical molecules.
