past event - Ottawa Sound Healing Conference at the Ottawa Folk Festival - Schedule is now up!

This year, a new event will be integrated into the Ottawa Folk Festival. The first annual Ottawa Sound Healing Conference will include a variety of leading edge speakers, composers, teachers, sound healers and practitioners, as well as music therapists and soulful musicians including David Hickey & Crystal Journey, Jeremy Sills & Theda Phoenix, Dan Mauro., and me, Tanya Nash - plus more! This is the first year for this expansion of the folk fest and we hope you can join us and support our vision for getting the word out there on sound & healing.

Much more than just a conference, this first annual event will feature interactive and experiential workshops, dancing, drumming, singing, chanting, musical yoga, intensive sound healing sessions and a panorama of live music with many indigenous instruments.

You are invited to celebrate with us Ottawa's first annual Sound Healing Conference at the Ottawa Folk Festival: Britannia Park, August 21-23, 2009.
